Throttling

The API throttling process helps us in limiting the number of API requests a user can make within a certain amount of time. API behavior and security is managed through the endpoint policies such as throttling, authentication, and caching that optimize the API runtime performance. At Walmart, the rate limits at the API level are measured in Transactions per Minute (TPM) per supplier.
